Bunk Bed

Materials: maple, beech, plywood, milk paint, hard wax oil, bed bolts
The challenge with this commission was to build a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece, that would act as a sofa and bunk bed, with ample storage, all that fit in a small alcove in a small playroom.
​
After collaborating with the clients on the design, we landed on the design you see here. After close to 200 hours of detailed work, this piece was installed and the clients were thrilled.
