This piece was originally a simple, open framed nicho that I built in early 2020. After seeing some of my more involved pieces, the client requested that I add a metal back similar to an altar that hangs in our home. The metal back provides an easy way to display photos by simply holding them in place with magnets. The client commissioned Leann to paint the floral design on the back, matching some of the colors in its new home. Lastly, I added a carved crest with the agave pattern at the request of the client.
